American Legion Riders Post 74
Charlottesville, VA

About Us

We are all members of the American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary, or the Sons of the American Legion, but more importantly, we love to ride! Not only do we support the American Legion, we have fun doing it. We participate in fund raisers, socialize and fellowship, and share the joy of the open road. In the past, we have participated in Armed Forces Day Rides benefiting the Wounded Warriors Project, poker runs for various charities, and the Dining Out Program for the polytrauma unit at the Hunter-Holmes McGuire Veterans' Hospital.

If you share our passion and are a member or can be a potential member of one of the above listed organizations, contact us via e-mail or call and let us know. All makes and models of bikes are welcome.

Our Purpose

  • To participate in parades and other ceremonies in keeping with the aims and purposes of the American Legion
  • To promote motorcycle safety programs
  • To provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interests
  • To use our Association to promote and support programs of the American Legion through service to our community, state, and nation
